What's on the sheet

The template has three sections: a header where players write their name and circle the stage they're watching, a table with 26 numbered rows to fill in as songs perform, and a points column that matches the real contest scale.

Ranks 1 through 10 earn 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 points respectively. Ranks 11 and below score zero — but their order still matters, because ties on total points are broken by whoever ranked the tied countries higher.

How to use it

1. Write your name at the top, then circle whether you're scoring Semi-Final 1, Semi-Final 2, or the Grand Final.
2. As each song performs, write the country into the row where you think it belongs. Don't worry about being exact yet — use pencil.
3. Between songs, adjust the order. That's the whole game.
4. After the last song, fill in the points column — the numbers are pre-printed, so you just read them off.
5. When the real contest results start coming in, compare scoreboards. Whoever's sheet lines up best with the actual outcome wins bragging rights.

Printing tips

• A4 and Letter both print cleanly.
• Black-and-white is fine — the sheet has no color content by design, so you don't need a color printer.
• If you want a sturdier sheet that survives a full evening of erasing and rewriting, print on 120gsm paper or card stock.
• A clipboard or a firm magazine underneath makes writing easier if you're on a sofa.

Why a paper version

Euro Scoreboard is built for running a scoreboard on your phone. But not every party wants a screen in the middle of it. Some groups prefer the physical ritual — penciling in a country, then erasing it after the next song changes everything. That's what this template is for.
