About Euro Scoreboard

Euro Scoreboard was built for one specific reason: Eurovision watch parties are more fun when everyone at the party gets to play along. The official voting takes hours to unfold on TV, but your group can score the show at your own pace, see how your rankings compare, and crown your own winner before the real one is announced.

The app works like this: a host creates a room, shares a code with their guests, and everyone ranks the competing songs from their own phone. When the room closes, each player's scorecard is combined into a leaderboard that follows the same 12-point scoring format used in the real contest.

Why I built it

Watching Eurovision with friends is one of the best parts of the show, but there's never been an easy way to run a proper scoreboard across a group. Existing tools either require everyone to use the same device, or they're designed for a single user and don't support a shared scoreboard. I wanted something that felt like a real watch-party game: everyone plays, everyone sees the results together, and it works on whatever phone they already have.

What makes it different

The app supports real-time updates, so a live scoreboard changes as players rank their songs. It also supports optional early voting, so fans who already know their top picks can pre-fill their rankings before the show begins. And it works on any device — phones, tablets, laptops — with no app install required.

Who built it

Euro Scoreboard is an independent project built by a single person (and an Eurovision fan). It's not affiliated with the European Broadcasting Union or any national broadcaster. Rooms for up to 3 players are free and supported by advertising. Larger rooms are available with a one-time 7-day pass.
